Hi I should be getting my ipad 2 soon. I was wondering what people think is the best browser app. Flash is a nice feature in skyfire, but is not extremely important and i have yet to try atomic browser.

I guess all i want to know is what browser you guys plan to use?

Am using Terra browser, its much more betta than built-in mobile safari..and its FREE :)

Must confess to having a dozen or more browsers, but apart from a few specialist uses I keep returning to safari as it just simply works well.

Special uses would be full screen, flash, different browser ID and tabs.

I like perfect browser very fast and does all I need.

I agree, perfect browser is awesome (and I've tried them all)

PB gives you tabs, a quick scroll bar, downloads etc.

Sky fire is a complete POS. I have yet to find even one single video that will play in sf that refused to play in safari.

Bookmarks Bar

Just FYI the iPad Safari Browser does support a favorites bar. It's very simple and If you had a bunch of favs, I wouldn't recommend putting them all on it. But it does work great. You can enable it by going to settings -> Safari and turning on "Always Show Bookmarks Bar"

Any my .02 on the browser, just stick with Safari. Safari will still be your built-in native browser. When you tap a link in an email for example, it'll still open in safari no matter what browsers you have installed. I have used atomic, terra, skyfire, and I have always just gone back to safari. iOS version 5 (due out this fall) is expected to add some functionality to Safari. It won't be flash, but might make it work better.
