Ipad 2 Itunes backup on Lion 10.7

where is it located, I have spent hours looking for it.
I was informed it was in
users/myname/ Library/application support/Mobilesync/backup
In users/myname/ I do not have a library folder?

Hi Michael,
The Folder is hidden by default,
you need to use show all file program to see the folder...

just googling for show all files in osx
