IPAD 2 stuck downloading tv show "Processing"

Does anyone have a real fix for an IPAD2 stuck downloading a tv show? It is showing as "processing" on two episodes of Mad Men out of the entire season 5. It has been "stuck" here for two days continuously.

I have tried all the suggestions I have read about so far including:
- Use WiFi instead of 3g.
- Power the Ipad down and re-try.
- Delete the episode by wiping your finger left to right and re-download. (It would not delete this way)
- Update to IOS 5.


What I have not tried is updating the flash card/reader software. (I'm not sure how to do that.)

Any assistance would be helpful. I'm about ready to advertise the IPAD for sale as slightly damaged after I throw it across the room...
