Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!
Hope to hear from you soon with your thoughts about the iPad.
Have fun and enjoy your iPad
To set up your iPad you need to have a Mac or PC with the latest version of iTunes on - which you can download from the Apple site for free. Then plug in the iPad to your PC using the supplied cable. iTunes will automatically start and initialise your iPad and, if you want it to, set up the iPad's email accounts to be the same as on your PC, transfer your contacts, photos, calendar, movies, music - as much or as little as you want it to. Depending upon how many files you have to transfer, this shouldn't take many minutes and then you'll be good to go.
If you don’t already have it you can download a copy of the iPad manual for free.
