I recently read on this forum that someone updated there iPad 2 now I've got a message sayin I've got an update waiting for me it's isos 6.101 or something like that anyone any advice whether I should do to update or not any replys will b thankfully received thank x

Most of this upgrade concerns the iPhone but it is intended for all iDevices on iOS6.0. I upgraded my iPad 2 and 3rd generation with no problems.

If you're not conserving a jail break or sitting at a certain iOS while waiting for a jail break - it's always a good idea (IMHO, of course) to keep your firmware updated. Just ensures you have the newest and bestest.

Again, YMMV.

If you like your Google Maps as they now are, I would not upgrade.
