Ipad 3 wont email more than one pic at a time?

I'm sure it used to and my old iPad and my iPhone does send more. It's using a hotmail account and you can send up to 10mb with them. I like to send photos to relatives. Normally select 3-4 to send but the message tries and always fails. However, sending just one at a time works fine.

Any ideas cuz its really annoying sending lots of separate emails

I just sent one with three pics.

I start an email jump to my photos and copy and paste images into the body of my email.

Worked fine and the email I received had the pics as attachments rather than in the body of the email as pics.

I copied and pasted 3 photos and it sent. But if you do it the proper way it doesn't work. Where you tick the ones you want and send them.

What proper way? Where can you select multiple photos to email? Photo folder I can't select multiples and email I don't even get an attachment icon from which I would get to browse and choose.

There are several apps that will also do this "of course!" I say this only because I really like Photo Email. I can't remember if it was free or not but I do know that it does a great job and is at least worth looking at. However it is more for like a postcard type of email.

Just open up your camera roll and tap on the arrow in the upper right hand corner like you are going to share. Then you can tap on photos and it will put a check mark on several of them. Then click on share in the upper left corner and choose email and away they go.

Mine is still working great so I would try to do it with just 2 photos as you maybe sending more data than your email app will allow. You also may want to try shutting down and restarting your iPad.

Ok....I selected two and received them fine as attachments. I am guessing you are running into a size restriction outbound for you or inbound for target. When you look in your sent folder does the problem email show all attachments?

The size is within limits and sometimes only around 4.5mb. I'm not sure whats going on as with my iPhone I can select 5-6 photos that will all send as one.

Try the non destructive reset by pressing and holding both the power and home buttons until the Apple appears and then let them both go. Do this while your iPad is running and be sure not to let the buttons go until the Apple appears which will be a few seconds after the unit shuts totally off.

I figured out the problem. I deleted my hotmail account and added my gmail account to my iPad. I then sent 5-6 photos which was about 19mb and it sent fine. I tried it again and it sent fine again. Maybe hotmail is having trouble or have restricted the amount I can send? It won't send more than one photo at a time with hotmail.

How do the problem emails look in your sent folder when opened? Are the multiple attachments listed as part of the message? This will help determine if it's an iPad problem or a problem with the receiving email account/client.

If the multiple attachments are not listed in the sent items copy of the email(s) giving you grief then we can focus on iOS as the problem.

I'm pretty sure it's hotmails fault seeing as gmail works and sends. However this email I sent with hotmail tried for about 15 mins until I checked the outbox and it looked like this.... See pic...
