Ipad Air Mailboxes

My ipad air only has inbox, VIP and trash boxes. How do I add more like sent mail, letter, etc. I tried and clicked on add but it wouldn't let me? Any help is greatly appreciated.

It would help to provide a little more information on the matter. Which email provider are you using?

If you click on the account (lower down), you can reveal all the folders currently set-up on your mail server, including Sent Items, etc.

To turn on/off All Inbox, VIP, and the other special inboxes.

In landscape mode, tap the back button at the top left of the email list until you see the list of in boxes (top), and accounts (bottom).

Tap the Edit button at the top right.

Check mark each of the inboxes and/or special folders you want to appear in the Mailbox list.

Tap Done.
