iPad always has an email displayed, can I change this?

Hi,

I'm pretty new to the iPad world, but I have a question concerning how emails are displayed.

I have several email accounts currently being checked by my iPad 2, so I don't need help setting them up.

Every time I open up the Mail app, the top (or first) email of the primary email account is ALWAYS displayed! Is there a way that I can open the app without anything displaying, just the inboxes?

Any help would be really appreciated!!

Unfortunately, no. When you are in the Mail app, you will always see an e-mail.

Maybe if you make a "dummy" e-mail and have it selected when you leave the app, it will show that one when you re-open the app. That's all all I can think of for you to try. Sorry.
