iPad and Facebook

I have the original iPad. I have just started using Facebook and find it not to be so much fun. Was going to d/l an app but the (trademark) Facebook app was about even for thumbs up as down. I was thinking I should only get the Real app. Do I need an app to use Facebook on my iPad?

You can try MyPad app to access your FB account too. Don't worry it's legit. Or you can always check your FB accout using Safari.

I use both. No reason not to. The FaceBook app is ok for checking your newsfeed and making comments. You can use Safari to go to FaceBook for most other things, and it is usable if not always iPad display perfect. About the only thing you can't do in Safari is upload pictures, which you can do in the app (though some report having problems uploading more than two or three at a time).

It's not an either or choice. Since the iPad app is free, you can get it and decide if it is worth keeping around or not.
