ipad controls iphone ipod

hiya all,

i have my iphone plugged into a sony speaker system that syncs up through the speakers and the base station charges and feeds the music from my iphone..... is there anyway to control the playlist on the iphone via the ipad??

i know i can control my macbook via my ipad but how the heck do you do the same with a iphone 4??

be great to hear of some solutions if there out there!!
