How can I switch off the de bug console:

You can turn the Debug Console On and Off using the Developer Settings for Safari as follows: (these images are from an iPhone, but the concept is exactly the same)

Click Settings on the main page.
Click Safari.
Select Developer

Switch Debug Console On or Off as required.
