Hi everyone
I have just got my iPad 3 and would like to download files from websites i.e. bank statements, pdf's etc. when I have downloaded the files how do I deal with them on the iPad.
Keep in mind that 'files' brought into the iPad are typically 'opened' w/i an app - the device does not have a storage feature like Windows Explorer to keep files that can then be used by multiple programs.
As already suggested by Leelai, GoodReader is an excellent app that can open many different file types, including PDFs; iBooks by Apple, a free app, is another consideration for books & PDFs.
Now concerning 'bank statements', you'll need to check for an app that will work w/ the format of your statements; I assume that your bank can provide some help - good luck!
