IPAD Google Maps

I can not find out for the life of me how to send my location "send to phone" from the google app or from google maps in safari! THis feature is really useful on my windows laptop "all browsers" if i need to give some one directions and dosent require any type of phone service...Anyone no how to send my gps cordanates to someone's phone from the ipad?

You can email your location by clicking the blue dot on the map showing your location then click the arrow on the right in the little screen that opens. In there you will have a "share location" button which will email it to whoever you choose.

Sorry, it is the letter I you click on, not an arrow but the steps work regardless.
