iPad in India

Am using a prepaid MTNL sim. Works in Mumbai, but never seems to work when I travel outside (i.e. roaming). I use the 3G Jadoo top up cards. I always thought that I could roam for free on BSNL. Do I need to go postpaid for this? What can I do to ensure I can roam and access 3G (at least Edge if nothing else)...!?

Although I'm not familiar with your particular operators I know that, in the UK, it usually requires prior authorisation from the service provider for roaming to be enabled. A second point is whether you have roaming switched on in the 'Settings' menu of your iPad

'Settings', 'Cellular Data', 'Data Roaming' -> 'On'
