What's new

iPad in Korea?

I boughy my iPad in the USA and am currently visiting my cousin here in Seoul, Korea. She really wants one so I told her I would give her mine.

Currently, the iPad is sync'd with my MacBook Pro, which is in the States.

I was wondering if I would run into any problems if I were to sync the iPad with her iTunes here in Korea. I can't imagine anything going wrong, since we would be syncing it with iTunes on a Windows Vista PC.

If it matters, the iPad is about a month old, and I haven't updated from 3.2 yet.

I suggest you create a new ID for iTune on her PC.
That way her sync will be different.
Also a new Account at the Apple Store.

Before you connect your iAPD to her PC, Un-Sign all checks regarding Sync.
Once you connect the device, perform a copy of some PDF file. an ePUB iBook. MP3 file.
Just to get the feeling that it's working properly with the iTune.

Now she can start filling up the device with new stuff.

You can of course stay with the same ID . Sync to the iTune, and from mow own she can get "free" all the applications you nun from he iStore (up to 5 iPAD per account)

Nice way of an on going endless GIFT
