iPad/iPhone calendar sync

Can anyone help a new iPhone user. I currently sync my ipad2 with Outlook calendar but need also to sync to my
iphone3 where I keep my diary but iTunes doesn't update/sync all three. Can live without Outlook if I could sync the
iPad and iPhone calendars but they wont talk to each other. Any suggestions?

You could probably sync all ofthe above with a Google calendar.

I used to use Outlook aswell but I now use the I Cloud calender. this keeps everything synced automatically.

Here are some simple steps to sync calendar to iPad/iPhone Open the Settings application on your device’s home screen. Open Mail, Contacts, Calendars. Tap Add Account…. Select Microsoft Exchange. Enter your Google Account password as the Password. Open the Safari browser on your phone and go to http://m.google.com/sync.
