Im new to ipad n sruff. i am stuck on a black screen when i get into Iphoto. Pressed a balck screen i thought was a video. now everytime i get into Iphoto, it's just a black screen, cant see any of the photos now.

Tap in the middle of the screen. YOu should see a blue Done button appear at the top. Tap that to exit back to previous view.

If that does not work, try these common solutions for app misbehavior.

Close/Clear the app: With the problem app closed, double tap on the Home button to get the multitask bar. Tap and hold on any icon in the bar until they jiggle, then tap the minus sign on the problem app. This will remove it from RAM and insure a clean start the next time you launch the app.
If that does not work try a restart,

Restart: Hold down the power button until the power off slider appears. Slide it off. When the iPad finishes shutting down, hold down the power button again until the Apple logo appears.

and then a reset if that does not work.

Reset: Hold down the power and home buttons until the Apple logo appears. The iPad will reboot. This usually takes a bit longer than a restart.

it worked...thank u. now if my videos in Iphoto say MPG and i cant see them, what mit be the problem that i didnt import them correctly.
thanks again

They are probably the wrong format. I've had limited luck with videos in the Photos app. The few that work are usually ones that I created with iMovie; either on the iMac or iPad.

Normally you would sync videos by importing them into iTunes on the computer first. It accepts a wider range of video formats, and will convert most of them to be compatible with the iPad when syncing. They will show up in the Videos app though, not the Photos app.
