ipad jailbroken restore

okay, i have an ipad and i want to do a complete restore but it is jailbroke, i tried to do a restore on it yesterday but it still wasnt done after all night so i canceled it but i still want to do a restore so it can take off the jailbreak. what do i do? it is ios 5.0.1. is there anything i can do to restore it and completely remove the jailbreak?

If you follow the steps exactly as written, you should end up with an iPad with the latest iOS.
