My iPad recently began this behavior: when idle, it loops from black to logo to lockscreen to black, etc. It's not jail broken. Works normally until going into idle. I've tried resetting and started to backup on iTunes but got an error message and couldn't finish. However, I didn't monitor it to keep it from being idle (if I could).
