iPad Mini 2 Retina Jailbreak Question

Hey

So I am thinking about jailbreaking my new iPad Mini 2 Retina when I get it. It comes with iOS 7.X.X, so I am going to use Pangu if it is 7.1.X. If I for some reason have to return it to the retailer, and there must not be a sign of jailbreaking, so I simply need to put it in DFU mode and then reset it to factory settings?
