Anyone have any info about the release of a new iPad mini?

There's been no announcements about new iPads, mini or otherwise. The best guess of the more experienced bloggers is in the Spring, probably around March. This was the original schedule for new iPad releases, before they started coming out shortly after the iPhones in the Fall or early Winter.

From the way it looks apple has stopped focus on the mini there has nothing said about anything new.

Apple won't say anything about new iPad until they are ready. Everything else you are hearing is speculation and rumors. Some of it is based on leaks, and might be true. However, unlike leaks about what products Apple might be working on, a lack of leaks proves nothing.

Apple's history of secrecy has spawned a never ending supply of rumors, often presented as news or facts. Welcome to the Apple world of non-news. Believe nothing until it's announced 'by Apple' or better yet, for sale.
