ipad notes not syncing with Outlook notes, HELP!

The instructions said, 10.5 itunes, iOS 5, ipad/pc on the same wireless network, ipad charging, itunes up and running on pc, @me acct, all switches set...

I still can't get notes to sync wirelessly.

oops. wait a minute, does the pc HAVE to be wireless? How rediculous.

Any help out there?

New to Apple/ipad/iphone. Have desktop PC w/ Outlook 2010. Have same problem only with Notes. Contacts, calendar & tasks all sync wirelessly between pad, phone and PC.
