IPad Pro with home button has black screen.

No amount of pressing buttons changes this. I can get it in DFU mode but iTunes will not restore it!

If iTunes can’t restore it from DFU mode then your iPad has a hardware problem. If you can get to the Genius Bar in an Apple Store you can get a free diagnostic to see how bad the problem is and if a repair is feasible.
