iPad WiFi sync and dual band router

Hi,

My iPad2 is not recognizing my laptop when using the N band on my dual-band router. The laptop isn't N compatible, and I'd like to take advantage of the 2nd, since it's traffic free.

Any ideas, other than my current work-around of switching from one SSID to the other?

When you say it's 'not recognising your laptop' what do you mean by that? Are you trying to access your laptop using a remote desktop app, such as Splashtop?

I inadvertently stumbled upon the answer earlier today looking into an entirely different issue - thanks for the response, though.

I needed to manually sync once and activate wi-fi syncing. I was also having difficulty streaming video from a laptop, and using Splashtop, but those difficulties seemed to have resolved themselves.

All is right with the wireless world - thanks again.
