I have an iPad 2, it used to sync via wifi pretty well back when I first got it.
However, recently the wifi has become spotty.
That is to say - sometimes the iPad shows up in iTunes, but unless I happen to notice it at the exact time it shows up, if I try to sync files or video or anything to the iPad, it dissappears and iTunes says "could not sync device it is not visible on network" or some such.
It's there - I can find it connected actively to my wifi router. But iTunes doesn't have an option to force it to actively detect the iPad - if it isn't showing up there's absolutely nothing I can do except wait...
I'm very dissappointed in this difficulty - I had thought apple was better about making it "Just Plain Work".
I've tried deleting and re-installing itunes and the problem hasn't gone away. All the settings are correct for syncing - like I said, it does it SOMETIMES. But it's not reliable.
Any help welcome.
