My wwf started closing, then taking a long to reopen after the dec upd. Now it opens, says updsting and closes. I can only play thru fb noe. I have unimstalled, reinstalled, rebooted ipad countless times. Even bought again thr different itunes acct. Still cant play. Hope they fix soon.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!
We have a thread on this problem with Words, there isn't a solution as yet. The app has been playing up ever since the last update. I too play the game and the best solution I found is to just keep closing it completely.
From the home screen do the four finger swipe up or double press the home button to reveal your multi task bar. These are all the apps that you have opened at one time. Long press the app until it jiggles and a red minus sign will appear above it. Press the minus sign, this will close the app, not delete it. Getting in touch with the Developer is a good way to go here too.

Yes I've noticed the time lag on plays too. There are many members experiencing problems here and there won't be a solution until the Developer comes up with a fix. The funny thing is I know a lot of players who are unaffected by it and have not experienced any problems at all. Good luck with your games!
