iPad working SLOW after upgrading system iOS 7.1

I have upgraded the system to iOS 7.1 in my iPad and since than, the iPad is working very slow. Even I can not open the mail nor Face Book etc.

How to overcome this problem...... Please help me .....

After updating, resetting is recommended. It will resolve some of the issues:
Press and hold Home and Power button at the same time until the Apple logo appears.
