iPad??

So today I bought myself a Original Ipad which I like but my main question was getting the first gen worth it? I bought it mainly for college use such as Online textbooks, web browsing, games, music, and note taking. I was thinking maybe using this for a while then selling and getting a second gen.

Is it worth it? Compared to any competition in my opinion? Yes.
Compared to it's later models? not as much, but still holds its own.

Thanks for the reply yes I guess your right in every aspect I think I will move up to an iPad 2 or 3 in the up coming year since the iPad first gen is not supported anymore by apple.

Honestly I love my iPad 1 I like the feel of it and all that I think I might keep it forever. But eventually I'll need to move up to a faster iPad but I'll still love my first gen
