Ipad1 stuck installing firmware

I can anybody help, my ipad is stuck on firmware install and wont let me restore or update ???

Hi , was on 4.3.5 then tried jailbreaking, jb failed now jyst stuck on apple logo and loading bar wont go any further, tried shift+enter and pointing to fw but still no joy

The 4.3.5 jailbreak is tethered. So, if you reboot, or your battery dies, you have to use the computer to boot. So, all you will see is the apple logo.

So, plug into iTunes, do DFU mode (http://www.ipadforums.net/ipad-hacking/27489-dfu-mode-dummies.html)

Then iTunes will restore iPad to 4.3.5. Then, use the latest redsnow to jailbreak. Every time you power off, or the battery dies, you will have to run redsnow and deselect "install Cydia" and select "just boot tethered" to boot the iPad.
