When the ipad2 comes out, will they still be selling the ipad 1, or will they be taken off the shelves everywhere.

My wife follows this issue and tells me that Apple is selling the original iPads for $100 off regular price while they last. I understand no more are being produced.

Apple switched to manufacturing iPAD2 ... They don't make iPAD original any more. Just like cars and everything else. When the new models come in, bye, bye the old ones. Nothing new here.

However you will be able to get the original iPAD from the some of the 15 millions buyers that have decided to get the new and improved model... willing to sell their first purchase.

If you hurry Verizon is selling 16 GB Wi-Fi only models for $299... good while supplies last. ATT in their on-line store may have a few left.
