Ipad2 Birthdays calendar

Dates are all showing up one day off in the Birthdays calendar. Where can I edit/find the info that is feeding the Birthdays calendar? I tried in contacts but Contacts all show the correct dates. I use google mail,calendar but I do not see birth dates in google calendar either?

Is it because of leap year. I'm having the same problem. Have you found a solution.
