IPAD2 disabled, how to unlock?

Dear members,

I have forgotton my lockscreen code and now it is disabled. I have connected it through Itunes before and not sure if I backed it up.

I would like to restore it, but before that, I would need to backup everything on it since the data I have is very important and I need it.

Kindly advise of what I can do to back up my device before restoring it to default mode.

Since your device is locked and you don't remember the unlock code, you won't be able to back up anything on the iPad. If you have a backup on your computer that predates when you added your password, you can use it to restore the iPad after you wipe it. If you don't have a backup to restore your iPad from, you will have to set it up as a new iPad.
You are going to have to connect the iPad to iTunes on your computer and erase all content and settings. You will lose everything on the iPad. Previously purchased Apps, movies and music are available for download from your purchased list.
