Ipad2 freezing

Hi does anyone know why my iPad froze twice last night. The battery was low 2% could that have it . only had my iPad a few weeks still learning. It would not move the screen or let me change screens. Recharged it and it seems to be working as I am writing this.

iPad automatically shuts down at 2 percent battery life. Time to charge.

Yes it would have been your lack of battery life that caused this to happen.
