My ipad and iphone are syncing some apps a downloaded 10 new apps to my ipad and just looked had my iPhone and 3 of them had popped up on my iPhone ? It's their a setting where a can turn this off or some thing ?

Using iPad and suddenly the yahoo mail app gives me a message that it can't connect to the server or it will ask for the password which I have even reset. Yet I can connect through safari. Help
