iPhoto Alternative?

I HATE iPhoto!!! Is there an alternative way to get photos onto my iPad 3rd Gen without jailbreaking?

On the Mac? If you look in your Photo sync setting in iTunes you'll find you can sync directly with a folder, just like Windows users.

For a cable free solution I also like the PhotoSync app (no space).

I think I just figured out where I'm going wrong. I'm new to the Mac world (I bought my first iMac a while back). Thanks for taking time to reply.

Personally I like iPhoto, but everyone has their own needs and likes.

I use it for my older photos, family, and odd stuff. I use Aperture for my hobby photography. The tools are much more powerful.
