Ipod downloading crash helpZ

Whenever i try and download an app, it asks for my pasword ok so i put it in. Then it goes to the homescreen and says waiting for about 7 seconds,then completely dissapeares. I can redownload it only to have this happen again. Please help


Ps i have firmware 4.2.1

Just a thought but most apps have been upgraded to work on the later versions of iOS, could this be your problem?

There is lots of good advice and info on here plus plenty of members all too willing to help with any problems.

Remember, search is your friend.
