Is it possible to replace the SlingCatcher with the Ipad. Would it be possible to watch my Slingbox on my television with the Ipad Slingplayer Mobile App and then hooking the Ipad up to my television with Apple Component Audio Video cables? I know you can watch video from the Ipad, but am not sure if you could watch video from a Netflix or SlingPlayer App. Thanks in advance.

You can with Netflix because it has video out. Not sure about slingplayer.

Not sure about the iPad HD version, but I have run TV Out from my Windows mobile phone running Slingplayer to the AV in on my car's head unit and that works fine.
