Is there a way to use Ipad as hard drive or Flash drive?

I would like to be able to transfer music files, photos and documents on the Ipad and still be able to use different apps to look and play. I would like it to works as a blackberry where all we have to do is pulg it in and transfer the files and go. I also use it alot where I have no WIfi access so the online transfer(Dropbox, Etc) will not work for me. Is this an option after doing a jailbreak? Or is there an App for this?

There is an app called USBDisk that lets you transfer files to your iPad. You have to have your iPad hooked up to your computer with iTunes running, but once the files are on your iPad, you can use them without being connected to your computer or the Internet.

I use Dropbox a lot, and it would be great if it synced, just like it does with my laptop, so I could use my data offline.

But once you have synced with your computer you can access your files on the ipad offline. off-line.
