Is this the right place to ask about iTunes?

Hi Guys and Guyesses,
I'm a brand new iPad owner who is struggling with the concept of using iTunes to get "stuff" from my Mac to the iPad.
It's a simple job to drag a movie file from my desktop to the "Library" section at the top of the iTunes page. Same with an e-book and a CD from the Beatles.
The problem starts when I try to copy an Audio book to iTunes. It is NOT music so why does iTunes insist on sticking it in there with Elvis, Black Sabbath and, perish the thought, my wife's Michael Buble collection.
I'd like to do something like rename the Classical music section as "Audio books" but it won't seem to let me do that.
Is there a way to either change a category or make a new one and then make iTunes put audio books in there?
Thanks for any help,
Steve

Presumably these audiobooks were not bought from itunes? You need to assign the correct tag to them so itunes can identify them as audiobooks.

Use the get info option on them in itunes, in there should be a way for you to set them as audiobooks, I'm at work at the moment so can't give much more detailed instructions.

Thanks, Tim.

DefBref ... Cheers to you also. I'll have a look at your idea and see what happens.
