ISNES and Wiimote issue

hello, ive recently tried using my wiimote with both ISNES and SNES ADX plus,
on both it clearly connects but when I go to play the game, none of the buttons respond. I don't believe my wiimote is at fault because when i connect it to my mac via DarwiinRemote, all of the buttons respond accordingly. Can anyone help me please?

im having the same issue with the wiimote music controller. it clearly connects but buttons do not respond.
