iTunes Account Question

Hello,

I have a friend that just recently got a iPad. The credit card the she uses for her iTunes account was hacked into. She quickly resolved that issue, but now she doesn't want to use her credit card to make purchases in the App Store. As an alternative, she would rather buy iTunes gift cards and use them to make purchases. Is it possible to do this? Thanks.

It's possible to use iTunes gift cards as payment. Everything that has to be paid, will be taken from that amount first, until there's nothing left.

It should also be possible to change her payment method to "None". This should be done in iTunes on a computer.
