iTunes adding MP3 to Music Libray problem

Hi,

I have an iPad Mini.

I am trying to transfer some mp3 from my Windows PC to my ipad using itunes.

The mp3 when added to Library Music-> Songs, the name of the file is always renamed to "(Silence)" and automatically assigned to an album and artist.
Can someone please advise how do I add to the song list just as it is without going into any album or artist?
