itunes crashes when syncing photos

For some reason whenever I sync photos from iTunes to my iPad it crashes before completing. iTunes then stops responding and closes. I can however sync music, apps and everything else... Any ideas?

I'm running windows 7 with 64 bit version of iTunes.
