iTunes help

Hi

I am have Trouble syncing my iPad to my Computer iTunes I used to have a list on the Left hand side it had my Music Movies TV shows Folders and my iPads name. Now that's gone. do not know how to get it back. Can anyone Please tell me what to do? I have Tried Restart my computer Uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes that does not help. Thank you any help on this

Ok, I'm going to try to do this from memory......at the top of the screen one of the tabs should be View (although my memory isn't good so it could be Advanced), in the drop down menu click on the option which is called something like "View Sidebar" and hey presto, all should be revealed.
