Itunes password at powerup

I have just recently experienced a intermediate screen on power up. After I slide to unlock,I am asked to put in my Itunes password. I can hit cancel and the box goes away. I loaded the latest software and this did not happen until much later than this download.
Has anybody else seen this situation?

This problem disappeared. No idea why

Sometimes there can be a problem with the d/l and it will lose connectivity, or the connection will time out, so you need to enter the password again to get things going again. It happens occasionally, no big deal...
