jailbreak

he,guys
just bought my ipad 1 and trying to jailbreak the thing but unsuccessfull.
i shut down the pad,activated the latest version of greenpois0n,hooked the pad up to my laptop,did the sleep/homebutton-thing and it started the jailbreak.
after a complete message i got a bunch of text on my screen and that's it..
it doesn't start up or do anything.tried a few more times but to no evail.
any suggestions?

greenpois0n should not be used for current firmwares. Which version of iOS does your new iPad have?
You should ideally upgrade to 4.3.3 if not already on it, then use redsn0w to jailbreak. There is a step by step tutorial in our guides section (linked in my sig).

It does take awhile though for it to boot. Maybe a minute or so. Give it some time and see what it does.
