Jailbreaking problems

Ipad 1 5.0 how can i jailbreak this redsnow doesnt seem to work .. I used greenpoisom and it just sends me to the itunes screen and i have to restore it again

Make sure you start with a working fresh IOS5 installation...

One that you haven't messed up with greenpois0n or the wrong redsn0w...

You said you had to restore it again, so that should be fine. Just don't try and do it over a broken jailbreak attempt.
