I'm afraid that there is no iOS 7.1/7.1.1 jailbreak available.

Probably sometime after the release of iOS 8 this September. An iOS 8 jailbreak could take several months , pushing it's release into the next year.

BTW, it's likely that the iPad 2 won't be able to be upgraded to iOS 8.

Did you mean iPad 2 not upgradable to IOS 8?
