Java script?

I haven't been able to open so many things for the past 2 weeks and tonight was the last straw! I am being told on my iPad 2 to enable java script....cannot open without java script... WTHeck is going on....I can't find out if I can even dnld java script from apple...Please help me.

Settings > Safari. Make sure that JavaScript is turned on.
