Just got my ipad

Hi everyone.

My husband surprised me with an ipad (v1).

We're in the middle of a kitchen remodel, and he thought it might help me.

Does anyone know if there is an app out there where I can cut part of a picture out, and place it in another picture? I would love to be able to cut and paste various floors and backsplashes into a picture of the already done cabinets to see how they would look.

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

A couple of apps might be helpful with your problem - Smart Cut and Camera Magic. As you know, each country has its own App Store, so it's possible these apps are not available in your country. But have a look for AppFinder, which will help you quickly sift through the tens of thousands of apps in the App Store and narrow down the search considerably. If you see an app that you think do what you're looking for, don't hesitate to post a question on the Forum.

I think your husband was very kind - what a surprise!! I had to buy my own iPad!
